Turkey Dinner Pizza

Not unlike Thanksgiving, we had a bunch of leftovers from Christmas. While I was not quite as creative with our leftovers this time around because I've been under the weather, I decided to spice up our normal leftovers last night with this amazing Turkey Dinner Pizza! It came out great and was so fun... I'm certain kids young and old will love this!!

Here are the ingredients you will need:

  • 1 refrigerated pizza crust
  • your choice of spices
  • 1 to 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 2 cups prepared stuffing (I used our leftover sausage cornbread stuffing, mmm mmmm)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded cooked turkey breast
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar Cheese

  • Heat the oven to 425 degrees F
  • spray baking sheet with cooking spray
  • unroll dough in pan
  • Starting at the center, press out dough to edges of pan
  • season with spices of your liking [I used cayenne pepper and some Essence]
  • bake 7 to 9 minutes or until golden brown
  • spread mashed potatoes over partially baked crust
  • evenly top with stuffing and turkey
  • top with cheese
  • bake an additionally 6 to 10 minutes longer or until edges are golden brown and cheese is melted

This was such a great success! Nick said that this is one of his favorites, which was a surprise for me but I'll take it!! I hope you all enjoy this fun recipe and give it a try sometime!!

Until next time, happy creating!
